Welcome Back

Welcome back Lexers. And welcome to 2010. We here at LATC couldn’t be happier to be back in the land of the North Face, red brick and lemon squares galore. Not only did we spend break looking forward to coming back, but also not looking forward to what’s coming in just a few months. Ladies and gentleman, graduation is just around the corner, and as I prepare for my last matriculation tomorrow, I couldn’t help but wonder what other things I’ll be doing for the last time this term (and the first time… hello Goshen’s Pass!) And it was while I was considering all of this that I decided that for 2010 I wouldn’t make a list of resolutions, but instead, I’d make a list of goals to accomplish before leaving Lex and the City for a real city in the real world. And though the list is somewhat personal, I will share that 1. Eating at the Patisserie and 2. Revealing my crush over a certain University President are both on the list. I also decided that as we transition out of the world of firsts and into the world of lasts, it’s time for all of us, non-seniors included, to take full advantage of what we have. Even if you aren’t graduating in May, statistics show that you will graduate sometime (unless you get sent off for “foot surgery” or something of that nature). So remember heading into this term Lexers: for every first, there is an equal and opposite last. Have a good winter term and see you right here tomorrow for brand New LATC!
