Weekend To-Do List

Hello Lexers. There is absolutely no question about what is on the to-do list this weekend: it’s Valentine’s Day, of course. Now I know that all the pink and red used to gross people who weren’t in relationships out, but that was before we grew up and turned 21. This is one of the rare holidays when being in a relationship is actually a detriment to your enjoyment of the occasion. If you’re single, I say go out this Sunday, buy yourself a big box of wine and rent a movie that you love. Surround yourself with other single people and who knows what will happen when the sauce takes its course (make sure none of those single people are part of the “substantial” number who’ve contracted the herp virus. Stay wart free, folks). If you’re in a relationship, you should know by now what is expected of you: a gift, a dinner you cannot afford, some canoodle time, reflection of where you are in your relationship and at the end of it all, you can pop each others pimples and call it a night.
