Welcome Back.
Why hello there Lexers. I know, I know. Long time no see, but even the best of the best take brief hiatuses for some rest and recreation, and here at LATC, we make no apologies for taking the week off. Instead, we say welcome back to the land of endless snow and a hibernating Provost.
To kick off the remainder of the term, Lexers, I can’t be happier to announce some big changes to come to LATC in the future. Here at the LATC offices, we feel as though, as we prepare to lift out of the Lexington bubble and enter the real world, it’s time to make some big moves. So stay tuned, and until those changes come, I leave you with the proclamation that the herpes threat has passed—at least for all of those who avoided—and a Lexicon of the Week.
Juge: Verb meaning to “wrench around” or finagle into. To juge can also mean to insert forcibly, pass to someone a distance away, or fluff ones hair.
Etymology: From the Cajun word meaning to move around or insert.
Sentence: I was just standing there innocently and old boy just juged into me without saying sorry. How rude.
Until tomorrow, Lexers, when I answer some of the burning questions that have been building up in our mailbox. Trust, there are some doosies. Enjoy the snow!
