Local Politics

Hello there Lexers. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Here at Lex and the City, we don’t usually pay too much attention to politics, especially of the local variety. In fact the closest I’ve ever even come to being “political” was when I ordered two dozen lime green shirts for the Hawaii mock con delegation. But alas, with tomorrow’s EC and SJC elections coming up, I couldn’t help but wonder who I’ll be casting my ballot for… and for the last time ever for that matter. Here at LATC, we’re officially endorsing Summer Lollie for EC. Amidst great competition, I can’t help but feel that Summer is a qualified candidate and will be a great choice as the school moves forward. If nothing else, I’m almost fairly certain she won’t shamelessly put herself in charge of clubs on campus she has little to no business being in charge with little thought or self editing let honor violators run a muck. Also, she has a very great speaking voice and would give a compelling speech at graduation 2011. For these reasons, and many more, I compel you to join me in voting for Summer Lollie. Have a great week, Lexers, and don’t forget to exercise your democratic freedom tomorrow!
